They were 12p here but just gone up to 13pz still works out cheaper than the ready packaged.

Very happy with the current super six, or rather I would be if the fruit ever gets ripe!

I used to have that problem but now I take the net/plastic off and leave them in their plastic container. I put them on my (south-facing) kitchen window ledge. They're usually ripe enough within 24-36 hours 😊

Tesco have got fruit deals for 49p each at the moment and they include plums!

  • It always amuzes me when they use 'funsize' to mean tiny

I agree there is nothing amusing in buying stuff that two bites and its gone Why not just say very small fruit and tell the truth :):):) but then it is a marketing ploy after all :)or even 'fun size Mars bars ' they are hardly worth the effort :) Strange how we don't get 'fun sized' cabbages or cauliflowers :)

Wow! They must have gone up in the last 2 weeks since I last brought some.

Then again I know of a couple of supermarkets who charge 20p for a single banana, so Aldi ones are still a bargain at 13p.

Still my tip of looking out for the big bananas still stands.

Here in London too. Plus they were the usual hard red golf ball offerings, instead they were decently sized ripen-at-home Octobers:

My suspicion is that they'll revert back to the usual disappointing variety next week.

Maybe the peppers but that's it.

With the Lidl 99p fruit and veg this week, the value of offers at the cost cutting supermarkets are going down hill.
