    They are nice!

I bought some more this week, didn't realise until after I'd been through the till that the price of both the nectarines and mango had dropped to just 45p :)

My DD picked me some up along with a mango.Mango is ready to eat but the nectarines are a bit hard ,but I don't mind as I can keep them until the end of the week to ripen off ;)

No rhubarb at our Aldi since Friday - now replaced with bags of small apples. The mango and nectarines I bought last week both ripened up well, so I bought some more today! Very nice set of stuff in this supersix
    May spend - £291.40/£320.00
    June spend - £106.40/£320.00

the new offers from today until 21st June are:

    Cucumber
    Loose pepper
    Radishes (250g)

    these are 39p each

    Salad tomatoes (6 pk)
    Romaine Lettuce (2 pk)
    Apricots (320g)

and these are at 49p each

I'll certainly be getting the Romaine and the apricots, possibly radishes and a pepper or two if they are good size ones and not tiny excuses for a pepper :)

Unlikely to be English, though. The Cherry season has now started in the UK. What a shame that we are importing poorer quality fruit from Spain and Turkey instead of buying our own produce.

If we are talking quality rather than air miles, this is nonsense.

The best cherries I've ever eaten were in Syria, unbeatable!

Unless you have had your taste buds surgically removed, there is no comparison between imported cherries and those that have been home grown - not least because of the freshness.

I would also prefer to keep British farmers in business and welcome Aldi's attempts to do this in other areas. I just wish they and the other supermarkets would do it with fruit, too.
