    mm I love asparagus I got 2 going to have them with stake tomorrow. apples pears and orranges all great for the lunchbox :) I did jack monroes barbie pink pasta with the beetroot from last time last night kids loved it :)

    We're supposed to be having a warm Easter so not sure if I'll be stocking up on leeks and parsnips. Parrot is doing better with carrots, grapes and mange tout.

    I love grated leeks in a stir fry and love snacking on grapes, potatoes and carrots are must. A good super 6 for me, off to check the meat offer :)

    the leeks were 29p in my local Aldi yesterday. Also now I see it is listed at 29p on the Super 6 webpage https://www.aldi.co.uk/en/product-range/fresh-bakery/this-weeks-latest-super-6-fruit-veg-offers/

    Perhaps because ASDA have 39p offers.
    I bought leeks today, as well as a Cauliflower and a couple of packs of baby potatoes (1kg).
    Also available for 39p - spring greens and parsnips - 500g packs.
    The trimmed leeks looked better than Lidl's to be honest. But 29p (now) is a great price.

    it certainly is! A lovely leek and potato soup was consumed for lunch :)
