Thanks for posting. I am pleased with this selection.GC: Feb (16th Jan - 15th Feb) £46.25 / £50
Mar (16th Feb - 15th Mar) £61.96 / £700 -
tessie bear - I won't be buying the grapes as they are expensive compared to other deals. But snack size possibly aimed at lunch boxes etc.
I aim for 99p per 400g/500g, the same with strawberries if possible.

Me too. The only item from the Super 6 I got were the peppers. I didn't think the other items were very good value at all. And the tomatoes felt soft so I couldn't imagine them lasting long. Disappointment this time."If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0 -
The only one of those I will be bothering with is the Peppers.
Grapes are still very expensive - even compared to what you will pay at other Supermarkets. I have never been impressed with the quality of Aldi Courgettes (No problems with most of the Aldi stuff but for whatever reason courgettes have been poor). Beans again seem very expensive (especially as I tend to prefer frozen beans anyway) and never really a fan of the Jersey spuds or cherry toms.0 -
The Jersey Royals were 59p in my local aldi. Im not a huge fan of potatoes but I do like them so I bought a few bags and some courgettes. I thought the super six this time round was much better than the last few, Ive not bought anything from the super six for a while.0

Not cheap really as Aldi do a 500g packet of green grapes for £1.39.
Cheaper places are Sainsburys at £1.25 and Farmfoods at £1.
Only thing with the cheaper grapes are they tend to be smaller and mainly from India.
The green seedless greapes from Farmfoods are lovely. They also sell red ones but I haven't tried those as not really keen on red grapes unless they are poured from a bottle!
By the way, what is wrong with grapes from India, they taste lovely.0 -

Nothing wrong with the grapes from India, I am eating them.
But you will find the £1 to £1.39 cheaper grapes you can buy, are the same type of grape but smaller than the more expensive grapes which are usually bigger in size and nearly always from Chile.
But I don't know why but the Chile ones always taste the best. The more I live, the more I learn.

I usually buy the Aldi grapes but, this week, I got Sainsbury's Basic £1.29. I never noticed the country of origin but they are lovely - quite small but lovely and sweet. My smallest DGD was wolfing them down. (As am I!!)"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0
