Sky and customer service

Had to ring sky customer service yesterday and was put on hold twice for 30mins and then cut off. The number starts with 0870 and it turned out to be very expensive, did not get any satisfaction after making 4 calls. Told hubby he had to wait for 2 weeks to get an engineer and he was doing his nuts as he has missed his football and he could not do without it. the call will cost him £65, thank God, this morning, it is working again. Please does anybody know 0800 number to ring sky? Thanks

Sorry but can't helpwith phone number. I have used e-mail link on website and found that works very well - not same day reply but generally efficient and helpful. Sooo fed up with overseas based call centres ...

No 0800 number unfortunately but there is a landline number which may be cheaper for you

Sign up to 18866 (https://www.18866.co.uk) and use the above land line (cost=1p for however long they leave you hanging).  Have to be honest, Sky were one of the biggest drivers for me signing up to 18866, their customer support is lousy.  If I could go elsewhere I would.
