I wish I could say that I had worked really hard like Dinah!
But I was at my Dad's for a meal last night and he mentioned that they were gonna have to cut back a lot when my stepmum goes on maternity leave. So I said...
Me: You know that money you pay into my account every month? You can have that, it's only sitting in an ISA.
Dad: Why haven't you spent it?
Me: Cuz you said it was for fees, and they're at 0% so it's pointless paying them off.
Dad: It wasn't for fees, it was for living on!
So the money is mine to spend as I wish! They thought I had been spending it on food and going out and stuff. But they were chuffed I had managed to save it.
So yeah, not a great achievement but debt-free all the same! My big challenge is to save for a house deposit now.Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21
