  • Hi i've had this letter on numerous occasions, the first time over a year ago and it really panicked me so i rang them. they just wanted to discuss my account and at the time talked me into having a loan. When i received another they tried to get me have something else. now i just ignore the letters and they dont pester me. They have my phone numbers but have never rang me. I get the letters about every 6 months even when nothing on my account has changed. In my experience they are just trying to sell there products to you.
  • They want to sell you other stuff.

    Only do so if
    1) You can resist being pressured into buying anything/everything they suggest and/or
    2) There's something you do actually want out of them and you think you can pursuade them to give it to you. (0% CC, lower rates on overdraft, higher ISA rate etc.) and/or
    3) You have a gripe with them and you feel that by having one of their employees, trapped in a room with you, can sort it out ;)
