Yesterday was a pretty dull day really with little to look back with fondness on (apologies for the despondent post...). Only time I went out was to do an hour's football coaching with the kids at the twins school.

Rest of the time doing admin work. Hopefully will feel brighter today as going to suggest some more geocaching to get us out of the house a bit.:D

Picked the boys up from school, gave them tea then went out geocaching as promised in last post. Pretty much retraced steps from unfinished ones on Sunday and got another four out of six on a walk that must have been four miles.

Got home exhausted after dropping them off at home, had some tea then an early night. Today7, off to do DX in a minute then home, shower and breakfast part 2 before heading down to the football club for the day.

Yesterday was a slightly better day although hard work. DX in the morning, breakfast & shower then down to the football club until teatime, returning home for tea.

Mixed day at the club. I have an expenses issue with them that is brewing; basically they have been paying a certain amount per mile for the fuel expenses but they should have been paying more as I use my own car. In a nutshell, I have only been receiving around half the amounts I have actually been getting, meaning that I reckon I'm about £2,000 out of pocket.

On the plus side, the club are moving some staff around in offices and an old store room has been cleared meaning they were throwing out loads of football programmes. I asked to have them and they agreed and I filled my boot and more with them; there must be nearly 500 of them, I reckon. Have to start cataloguing my collection soon to find what I've got and what I haven't got but collection should be well over a thousand now. :T

Today? DX in a moment followed by shower, website work, breakfast part 2, trip into town for some photocopying and housework before picking the twins up for the weekend!! :D
  • Enjoyed today as got a lot done really. Went as planned this morning, spending £28 in Asda on the weekly shop, £4.20 on photocopying then later on spent £20 on diesel.

Picked boys up, gave them tea, got them changed then tonight we went out on a good long geocaching walk. Must have been nearly four miles in total and got another six meaning we're almost up to a hundred now!!:T

Tomorrow is the usual packed Saturday with a football training session in the morning, lunch then down to work at the club in the afternoon before returning home in time for X Factor.

Blimey, forgot to do updates for last two days.

Saturday - very hot. Football training in the morning, football match in the afternoon and damned hot all day. Squeezed in a geocache on the way to football as well, one short of a hundred.

Sunday - hot again. Football match in the morning where the boys lost 17-8...... Quiet afternoon and evening taking the boys back at 5pm.

Monday - had to meet my line manager with a DVD of Saturday's game as the machine didn't record properly meaning a trip to the BBC office in Bristol. Boss bought me chips too for helping him out which meant that, along with some other bad days, I stayed the same this week weight wise.

Back to more autumnal weather today - almost got a load of washing dry on the line till a little teatime shower doused it again... :(

Elsewhere, paid a cheque into the bank and then at 3.30pm went coaching with the boys' school till 4.45pm. Dropped them home then tonight, listened to the football on the radio for the match report as getting to Bournemouth would have been a rush job.

Tomorrow it's DX again in the morning then boys coming around from schooltime till 7.30pm.

DX in the morning then stayed at home doing website related work for the rest of the morning. Boys collected after school then after tea, went geocaching for an hour or so - it's a lot quicker now we're using a GPS system and there's no need to list a lot of notes and clues any more.

Today, off to do DX in a moment then at home pretty much all day. Have been offered a different Focus estate from my mate for a couple of weeks time (had already arranged to buy a white one but this one is green!) so may get to look at it today. Interviewing an ex-footballer this morning at 9am too.

Yesterday went okay really. Good interview in the morning with the ex-player then rest of the day, managed to begin sorting out my football programmes. The club gave me a huge amount recently... so much so that I three-quarters filled a wheelie bin of them. Sods law meant I needed that wheelie bin yesterday to put some weeds and grass cuttings in so emptied it and found there were 542 programmes in there! Still six more boxes to sort out then over the next six months, I'll do a few a day until I have a record of every single one.

Overslept this morning so did the DX late then headed down to Yeovil for a meeting with my manager and the media director. Left there at 1pm and stopped off for some chips on the way home (£1.60 and delicious). Picked up the boys from school today, gave them some tea then we went out geocaching tonight and found another seven caches.

Tomorrow is football training in the morning plus we'll probably watch the England rugby game and the Somerset cricket game while listening to the Yeovil football game.

Busy old weekend again which I don't mind, better than lazing around doing nothing.

Saturday - took the boys to football training where they had a good session then in the afternoon, boys watched cricket while I reported from the radio commentary. Watched X-Factor with the boys in the evening after going for a McDonalds in the evening (£12)...:o

Sunday - boys played this morning and drew 5-5. I'm so very proud of them as they worked so hard this morning and gave me everything a manager could want. Were actually winning 5-4 with a minute to go but couldn't quite hold on.

This afternoon just stayed in as we were all whacked out. After dropping them back, went to the pub quiz tonight and won one of the quizzes winning three drinks vouchers. Spent a total of £9.30 tonight.

Tomorrow I'm interviewing international cricketer Paul Nixon at lunchtime then going down to see DS1 (who was 20 on Saturday) and DD1 as well of course.

My OH and boys were not happy on Saturday due to the depressing sport - both the rugby and our home team of Somerset losing in their games!

Hope your interview with Paul Nixon went well but isn't he one of the ones who made us lose the T20?
