id sainsburs shelf sticker says a price, to they have to sell it at that price, theres always loads wrong when i get to the till, and get charged a higher price...

If the sel has a cheaper price than the till says they have to sell it to you for the sel price as long as the description is for the item in that place.
So just check that the sel description matches the toy and then they definitely have to honour the sel price. :D

Shops don't actually have to sell you things at the SEL price, although most big retailers like Sainsburys will probably do it as a goodwill gesture (depending on the cirumstances though - if something has an obviusly wrong SEL of 1p or something, I doubt they will do it).
  • Many thanks for the replys 'Peppa Pig' it is then....
Id opt for something that hasn't been out very long just in case she already has it. ;)

  • So what time is everyone getting there tomorrow? Our store opens at 7am but as I have to drop the kids off at my mum's I can't go so early. I think Im going to try and get there just before 9am.

I usually drop my oldest off at the school gates at 8.45 but he is staying with his gran tonight so wouldnt normally leave the house so early with my other son, but might make an exception tomorrow if it means half price toys haha!

Does anyone know what time it starts online? Would it be at 8am too?
  • Just spoken to someone at sainsburys online, he said it definatly starts online tomorrow too, but wasn't sure what time. He didn't really know to much about it to be honest.
