Wonder what time this will start if it is online?
  • How quick does the good stuff normally go?

Would there be any point going on the friday?
  • I went a few days into sale last year and still got some good stuff although it probably depends on your store.
  • I got there on the second day last year and there wasn't much left! My experience was that on the first day they just kept refilling the shelves all day until stock ran out and then they didn't get any more deliveries (at least they didn't at my local store). Be prepared though because it was packed. I had my little girl with me 2 years ago - she was 2 months at the time and couldn't get my pushchair near the shelves! Going to leave her at home this year with her 3 big sisters and get those bargains! ;)
Proud to be dealing with my debts,

they keep replenishing the stock, but if its anything like last year, my store sold out very quickly, it was stripped bare on day one. people were even grabbing stuff out the staffs hands as they tried to put it on the shelves. so unless sainsburys have planned to keep the stock coming this year (its supposedly on for a week), then you may find come friday all the popular stuff will already have gone

For you Mums in the know...whats the in thing for girls of three and a half? I am really out of touch as thats the only child I buy for but might look for cheap board games for others!

This might sound strange but I have no contact with her or her mother so don't have a clue what she is into!

    Hi Stormbreaker!

I have a little girl who is nearly 3 and she adores anything to do with Peppa Pig or Fifi flowertot. There's a really cute Peppa Pig classroom set that is out this year that I plan (hope!) to get half price at Sainsburys. Also a lovely Fifi Princess doll - both of which should be less than ten pounds in the half price sale.

    HTH!
