  • I know what it's like to miss someone...

I miss my family everyday-especially my Mom and my sister.

I have 2 of my best friends that I miss with proper heartache daily.

I have had 5 days off and not seen a living soul other than my OH and kids (and not much of OH, we've not gone 'out' for a drink or anything-he's been working or at the gym and I have been like a bump on a log)

    Anyhoo, enough whinging.

Stupid Flucking car-wish I was seeing you Sammy.

Good luck with the date Snaggs. Glad we didnt scare him away :p

DS is at the dentist in a bit for his first filling with drill. I've promised him a trip out if he's really brave so we're hopefully off out to the Mersey to see HMS Illustrious later

Let us know how he gets on Spud!

    Snaggs, have a great date!!!!

Have fun with Bunny Sammy x

I am going to ask today about getting my teeth cosmetically whitened as years of vin rouge, tea and a dodgy root dead tooth has made my front 2 teeth terribly stained, they look horrible on photographs. Dont know how much it will be though:confused:

If one of the teeth is dead or 'non vital' and grey as a result the whitening won't work on it unless it's either bleached from the inside or veneered (and will probably have to be root filled first) to the shade that you want your teeth whitening to.

Problem is, once you have that done you have to keep up to the whitening (££££££££) otherwise when they go back to the original colour the veneered one will stand out like a sore thumb!

Same here, but it would be lovely to actually see you all more than once or twice a year!

Good Morning one and all!! Happy Monday, I hope everyone has a good day!

Well, life over the last 5 days has changed a little bit for me! Finally, after an age of trying to get the truth from OH, he has admitted that he is without a job and was spending time trying to get another one to cover up in the hope I wouldn't notice! So we've had lots of discussion and he's been applying for loads of jobs and he's off to the job centre today and so hopefully he'll be entitled to benefits and at least we'll have money coming in!

It is such a relief to finally be able to move forward and plan for the future and even though we’re going to be poor for a long time, we’ll now be able to move on and look forward!

Having stopped being on MSE for a while, I’m now back and looking forward to getting advice, giving advice and generally having a great time on MSE once again!

Have a good day everyone! QBx
