Sky Plus HD installation

Hi,

We have been Sky customers now for 10 years, and are looking to get Sky plus HD, but our information is that only new customers get free installation.

This is ridiculous. When are a loyal customer, they should not charge you, for something that you should get priority with anyway.

Can anyone out there advise us, how to get the charge removed? If you are getting your insurance renewed, if you start it again, as new customer, you get the best deals, but you cannot do that with digital TV. If you leave, you can not get back on for 1 year.

Please any and all advice appreciated.

No, because you are already a customer. They want to hook new customers in, so they get the best deals, not the existing subscribers.
I'm afraid loyalty is not a concept that Sky recognise, all you can do is say you want to cancel and see what they offer you.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

I have just had Sky installed.
I was a customer a few years ago. I got free installation , just paid £49.00 for the HD+ box and £ 50 00 vouchers to spend at Tesco.I am happy with that.!:j

    A quad LNB's nearly £30,plus cabling & manhours to install,extra if it's a HD & Relocate.If Sky done every install for free,the'd be running at a loss.
Besides,I was a loyal customer for years too &,even when I worked for them,I had to pay for Sky+.
You're getting the Sky+HD at a heavily subsidised price.Be gratefull you're not paying full price!
  • If you're an existing sky movies subscriber or are a new customer prepared to take the sky movies hd package for at least a year then this latest offer will be of interest to you.

A free sky hd box plus fitting for £30.
