my normal mail comes at 2 30pm everyday, but the thing the courier isnt royal mail, which annoys me.

aaaar s happens - who is the courier if its not royal mail.
If its coming as parcel delivery - it can be at any time in a day.

Look at the bright side, the longer you wait the more time you have to prepare for the moment of package opening and playing with your new toy.

Did you get a DPD reference number? If so you may be able to check the progress of your mobile on DPDs' website.If not ask 3 for the reference number or ask them if they can contact DPD.
About three months ago I bought another refurb handset as OH cracked the screen on the 2nd contract phone I have with 3. I too waited and then found on their website that they had attempted to deliver to a 'house with white door'. There are no white doors on our little estate! Turned out the driver hadn't even bothered and that I would have to collect from him 10 miles away.
I got straight on the phone to both DPD and 3, and the driver got a right earful from his boss and then delivered, but I needed the reference number.
