Argos BH08 bluetooth

I've just bought one of these from Argos to use with my Nokia 5800, but before I can use it, it keeps deactivating itself from the phone. I have deleted it from the connectivity menu, and then re-paired it, but still to no avail. It paired up to the phone without the need for a password, but I can't work out why it won't stay activated.

My previous bluetooth did something similar, but always reconnected itself within 15 seconds or so, but never cut out while using it on an actual call.

I have had bluetooths in the past that always worked, but I'm beginning to wonder if the phone doesn't like bluetooth headsets.

Has anyone else had this problem, particularly with the Nokia 5800?

Having worked in a tech support dept for 18 months its clear that not all BT devices are compatible with each other.

I've had this problem come up a few times and about half the time we couldn't work out why the phone/headset wouldn't stay paired.

I'd just take it back and try something else.
