tomd84 wrote:"Uncapped" is a rare thing these days, The highest and cheapest cap that comes to mind is F2S with 50GB a month for £22.00 and you can buy a extra 50GB if you need it for £5
Thanks Tom :-)

Hi
Up to 8mb speed, 30gb on peak, 300gb off peak, so in total 330gb per month, Home Max30 £19.99, free migration and 1mth contract.

I don't know if the exchange in your area is ready yet but look at this provider, Be. You can get some codes which offer free connection or £20/month forever (one advertised on the homepage). If you choose Be unlimited there is no contract (you have to give 3 months notice to cancel to avoid charges, or pay £50 for a quicker termination). You can get up to 24 megs downloads, 1.3 meg uploads and unlimited usage. The Be box is leased to you so you have to give this back, or pay over £100 if you wanna keep it. Ask someone who is already a Be customer and both of you get one months free Internet. Payments are taken quarterly (rather than monthly like other ISPs).
I also don't know about stable connection or speed relability. However a forum that you can ask is here beforum. :j0 -
How about, starting off with another EntaNet reseller, which has free activation (unlike UKFSN). Try http://freeola.com/broadband/ - £14.99pm for first 3 months (3 month contract), then £24.99pm thereafter. This comes with free activation (£52.88 with UKFSN).wonderfullife wrote:Hi

As for Be*, mentioned above. They're a good ISP - been with them since late last year. Good stable connection, at 16.5-18.75Mbps (maximum my line can handle), with 1.3Mbps upload. Unlimited data transfer (subject to Fair Use Policy, which as far as I know, nobody has fallen foul of). Can't be bad for £20pm for life, although normal price is £24pm - I have had free service since January due to their referral scheme. Customer support isn't bad - I only use their ticket system to report/ask things, and responses are normally pretty good and quick. Telephone support is currently in India, but due to problems found the management have actually listened to the customers, and are in the process of moving support to Bulgaria - completion by July I believe. Of the people I have connected, friends, family, colleagues, & referrals from forums, I haven't had an unhappy customer yet
There are some customers that have had overly high expectations (from people on forums who are simply out to gather referrals, spouting "24Mbps unlimited") - bear in mind that the service, ADSL2+, supports up to 24Mbps but is very much dependent on the length and quality of your telephone line, plus factors in your own internal wiring. On the whole though, people are happy with Be*. 0 -

Hi
Don't know where you got that from
Of course UKFSN has free activation..........
From the website
FREE Migration Offer
Migrating your ADSL service to UKFSN is free - we do not charge any migration or activation fee.
We can migrate you from your existing ADSL service provider to any of our ADSL services. Even if the migration requires upgrading your line to a faster speed we can do this at no extra charge.0 -
UKFSN do an unlimited service but for an 8mb line it is £79.99 a month!
You could get a 1mb line for £29.990
