New Contract

Hi,

This may be a bit of a stupid question (But hey, that's me!), but can you ask one network to match another's when you take out a brand new contract, not a retention/renewal?

For example, would O2 give me a contract to match 3's Video Talk & Text 600, 500 anytime, any network minutes and 100 texts, or would they tell me politely to get stuffed and join 3 if I want that deal?

You have nothing to lose by trying, however the good deals are often offered as retention offers only. I doubt O2, say, would match 3's tariff on a new connection, at least not on a 12 month contract.

You're right, I don't have anything to lose by asking, just don't like being rejected! :mad:

I know the best deals tend to be offered when you come to renew your contract.

Typically, I left o2 a while back, have had a t-mobile contract for donkeys years, and I have not heard t-mobile give a half decent renewal deal, yet o2 seem to bendover backwards to keep their customers. 1 step forward, the length of a marathon backwards!
