Sim card question?

katchambers

Hi,

I have given my 1 year old nec phone to my mum, and her sim card won't work, so she tried to get it unlocked, but it wouldn't unlock so she has to get a 3 sim card, but my question is....

can she keep her old phone number and port it onto a different 3 sim card that I might buy from ebay?

Thanks

Yep, You should be able to port any number to any sim card on any network or the same network of your choice

Thanks Tom :-)

You can only port in a number from a different network!

In the past, I've ported my pay as you go number to a new contract both of which were o2. Was that only because I was switching to a contract?
