Can someone explain where my post has gone. I just wrote a little report of my trip to Asia and it seems to have been deleted. I never mentioned my business once, in any way, i never mentioned any factory or manufacturers i visited.
I mentioned Cree and Philips products currently on the market. Which is obviously no problem.
Can someone let me know why a post i spent time creating to help inform was deleted.
    Thank you

Sorry, as i was having a slow day i posted this in the wrong section of the forum. Sorry.

Just a quick note to say my trip to Asia was very productive. I have seen every single LED product now available to the market. I have found one company who are producing truly wonderful common light bulbs. Their 4 watt is a direct replacement for a 40w incandescent. It is the size of a regular incandescent and looks like a more modern version. Absolutely the best product i have ever seen. This is the only company in the world who are making this quality. In fact they are so good, Cree themselves want them to create bulbs with their brand on. I will be bringing these bulbs to the market over 50% cheaper than the Phillips equivalent (which is far larger in size and not in the same league in terms of quality). These LED bulbs will be £14.99 each and come in screw in and bayonet fitting. The UK being the only market needing bayonet and being specially made for me.

Not only that, but the factory these bulbs come from is top of the line with all the equipment needed to produce and test quality products. They come from Taiwan.

All the factories i visited in China were not up to anything. I saw the factory where the current biggest distributor of LED's in the country source their products. The factory was terrible and the treatment of the workers was horrific. The people working there are working 12 hours a day, 7 days a week for a month before they get 2 days off. They are living 6-12 to a room with no windows and 1 toilet and 2 showers to 100 workers. It was truly shocking and we walked out.

The other factories in China were not as bad, but still not good. Their products are poor and their claimed testing and stats are based on guess work as they are not prepared to invest in the expensive equipment needed to test. From a product and ethical point of view, i saw one factory in China i would work with.

I am so exciting with the products i found in Taiwan that when they website is launched they products will be offered on a solid money back guarantee. You buy the product and get it home, don't think its good enough, we'll refund you. I will stand behind my products, no other LED seller will do this because they know their products are not good enough.

Oh and this same factory showed me the first, proper dimmable LED. It's very very good, but they have only just finished it so if you wanted to buy one today it would cost $90 US per bulb. So we shall wait for that one.

    Thanks

I know the factory that lightplanet are sourcing their GU10's from. I was in it about 2 weeks ago and i have some samples from that factory coming for testing.

I have however, found what i think is the best factory making LED spot lights and downlights. I have not been able to test them yet so i cannot confirm if i have seen products that are of suitable quality to recommend or bring to the market. I can say however, that i am very confident that they will be up to our tough testing.

Spots are going to be more expensive unfortunately at the moment, but i think the products you have bought are very expensive. Too much mark up added there IMO

I think you will struggle to find MR18. GU10 and MR16 and pretty much the only LED products i have seen in terms of spot lights.

Yes that whats I though surely mr18 is fairly common. I see mr16 fair lot, I wonder if its technological problem or just not common enough

I try and get all my lights on low energy but wont pay £15-£20 for a bulb £10 is about the limit
