Have you put down the total of all the bills or just your share (you need to put down the total). Do you need to use the car for work? If not you may not be allowed those expenses on your SOA.

thanks for this - these are the total bills, i will put oh contribution as £130. yes, i ues car for work, 28 miles each way, hope this will be ok.
thanks for looking x0 -
one thought, i tend to get varied contribution from oh due to his job (plus he is patr time as at college) so was going to put down £30pm0
-
ignore that last comment i was part way thru typing!0
-
one thought, i was going to put £130pm from oh, he does earn more than this but that goes towards his expenses and car etc so i'm not putting down his full earnings pm, however, i don't think i should as i am not including his outgoings, does this make sense? thanks! x0
-
That is correct. How much does he earn though? (ie if he earns say £1,000 per month he would be expected to pay more than £130 - if he doesn't earn much he won't be expected to pay much).

about £600 at the moment (we are hoping this changes soon!), once he has paid his own bills there is not much left ;-(
thanks for your help fiveyear x0 -
So pro rota his contribution would be expected around 35% of bills.
I think be may be wrong0 -
In that case you will need to put down about £300. You have added £220 to housekeeping making it £400, contents insurance £20, prescriptions £20. Make all those changes and then post again and we'll see where we go from there.
