I need to go back on broadband! I was with wanadoo until the communication failed and I couldn't get on the net, I contacted wanadoo who kept ignoring me and it went on a couple of months, anyways I have a bill from wanadoo for the months that I didn't get the connection for and there is nothing I can do as they say I can't prove I contated them in the first place about comms error! I had emails as proof etc but they didn't accept it and didn't do anything bout it, just said I will have to pay blah blah! (CAN'T TRUST OR PROVE ANYTHING ANYMORE!) anyway so I haven't yet paid that and is just using pay as yo ugo, just had a bt bill for £367 so need to get something sorted!
I am gonna just have to pay wanadoo as there is nothing I can do there is there? and get the mac code. What is BT broadband like? how much is it etc...... or what is the best one? I wanna pay £14.99-£17.99 ish monthly am on the net quite a lot but only use it for shopping etc!
Please can everyone say one provider to go with (not likely everyone will agree!!!
)
thanks :0

assuming your on wanadoo's 2Gb package, you could migrate to zazizam's £11.99 package, which is pretty much the same thing - i highly recommend this ISP
if you have been using a pay as you go connection for your internet, why didn't you join an unmetered ISP, then you wouldn't have had such a huge BT bill!!0 -
what is unmetered ISP?

Hi
If you are a light user, why not look at Medasafish, but please read their T & C and their fair use policy, before you decide.

Hope this helps0 -
I am quite new to broadband and about a month ago signed up to BT broadband and they have been excellent with communication set up speed and everything.I am paying 14.99 per month for the first 3 months then 17.99I signed up online and was up and running in 5 working days there was no initial cost and the router was free.It only took 10 minutes to set up out of the box no problems another good thing with going with BT is that if there is a problem BT can sort it none of this stuff like with wannadoo or the others "oh its not our fault its bts fault youll have to contact them"0

its like pay as you go dialup - but you pay nothing by dialing an 0808 number instead, but you pay a monthly subscription, and get internet usage for the month. For example, if you look at zazizam's unmetered dialup products that start from about £3, you will see that you get usage included with each package, from 60hours a month, upto unlimited0
