These sound like a plan for today, I wanted to make something with my little girl who is suddenly into baking as she does it at school.

Do you think it would work with honey rather than syrup? I never have syrup in?

You won't believe how many times I've bought digestives so that I can make either this or cheesecake but the biscuits mysteriously disappear before I get a chance to use them!

The only problem with this recipe is that one piece is never enough, even if it's really rich and makes you feel ill if you eat too much :rotfl:

Is this the same thing you get at some coffee shops, which has a "cold" taste and is liberally sprinkled with icing sugar? If so, yum yum, will definitely make some!

Ooh, thanks, I will try this. I used to make a similar one with chocolate, cream and the large nice biscuits. You would layer it like a lasagne and it was fab. Can't remember it or find the recipe too :(

I love simple things... I should actually say chocolate ;)
