best way to call daughter travelling?

my daughter is travelling around america, she is in san francisco at moment but then going aorong the place new zealand, singapore, las vegas etc she has a contract phone with orange she said she will try sand get a phone card today but is a bit scatty at best of times and wondered was there a good way i could either organise some way of being able to call me or getting card here and sending her codes or something or am i looking for the impossible

get an orange PAYG camel sim or something similar, when she is free tell her to give you a one ring on your phone and call her back on a pre-agreed number e.g. the hotel she is staying at
DON'T call her on her orange phone and she shouldn't call you from that either would get very expensive,
texts to her will be free but every text she sends from her orange phone would be approx 40p

If she is going to be in the US for more than a few days, just have her walk into a tmobile or AT&T store to get a prepaid sim. Or better yet, a walmart, target, etc. They will all have a sim/phone package for very cheap. Also, she can find calling cards at those places if that's what she wants.

Cherck o2 as i think if she gets a bundle she can will use 4 texts for every 1 sent

For example:

100 texts

If she sends 1 to you she will have 4 deducted thus no charge fro it.

Als oset up a Skype account for free PC to PC calls over the internet. Do not use it on phone though!!!!
