  • i paid for a 3 day trial.. it cost £3.99.. so it wasn't the same price as the initial trial payment i paid they took £24.99 and signed me up for another month..

The only free trials that terminate after the free trial end date are ones where you don't give your bank details...

Presumably they DID take your bank/card details? Did you not think to question WHY they wanted them?

but i presumed they wouldn't because i got an email stating my trial will expire on such date.. !
  • This is how nearly all free trials work. You have to explicitly tell them you do not wish to continue.

it wasn't freei paid £3.99 for a 3 day trial..

Yes, it says your TRIAL will end, not your MEMBERSHIP...
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

All the sites I have been on make it very clear that you are signing up for repeat billing.
Benaughty make no mention at all and the offer is made to look like a one off payment for just three days access.

The other point you geniuses failed to see is that they want three days notice to cancel!!!!

This effectivley means you CANNOT cancel in time to stop a further payment been stolen from your account but you only find this out when its too late.

If only we could all be so wise AFTER the event like you smart !!!!!!.

    Its a scam site, Avoid.

What you missed is that the reserve the payment for 3 days. Termination of membership is immediate. This may mean you cancel, they take money, but they would then refund you.

This site makes it load and clear in T&C's what will happen.

Its Idiots like YOU who post this rubbish because you cannot read or even use your head and think why they need your bank details for a "free" trial.

Before mouthing off again, read the terms, oh wait, you dont do that.... oh well, dont post again.
    Back by no demand whatsoever.

"I just thought it would cancel anyway"
"as for reading the terms and conditions.. I never read them"

Yeah, I'd sue 'em. Clearly it's some kind of SCAM!
  • The keyword in the OP's posting is "Assume" - well you "Assumed" wrong! the old saying to Assume is to make an !!! of U and Me is wrong, to Assume is to make an !!! of U and well... U.

Read the Terms and Conditions next time, you have nobody to blame but yourself for this stupidity.
