I can't cross stitch (or knit) until my carpal tunnel is sorted out otherwise I feel like my index fingers and thumbs are connected to the national grid :(

I am going to have a glass of wine and then head off to bed.

  • Pap thanks for that, I will have to pop over and have a look at that thread.

Is that a Hevean and Earth Deisgn? I've got a peacock one in my box to do, not sure if to start some now or wait until I've graduated from the Open Uni in three years time!!

  • Have a great holiday Cat :j

Sally, you will one day. The first ever craft/creative thing I done was cross stitching at 14. I used to save any pocket money I recieved and spend it on a kit/magazine. Its the one and only craft/creative thing I have kept up and would never give up. However I was saying on the other thead that over all the years i have none of my own work, its all been given as gifts. So I kept the last one I completed and Alice will be just for me too :T
  • PAP thanks for that, I love cross stitching and I find it a great way to relax and shed the pounds. Let me explain, whilst I'm concentrating on the cross stitch I'm not thinking about snacking on sweets etc.

I love Newton Law designs and I'm sre you'll get it finished and framed before Christmas. Please keep us updated wit your progress.

Also there's nothing better than the feel of new aida between your fingers.

    LMC xx
