Did 3 kill my phone?
Yesterday my numbers were ported from my 3 contracts to my new T Mobile Contracts.
Just before this happened I received a network SMS from ">pers", saying "Network message please delete." I did.
I was on the new phone when the porting took place. I went to my old 3 phone, a Motorola C975, and tried to power it up. The C975 was completely DEAD!
It was sitting on the settee before and after the event.

That just reminded me that I got a text from I think Tmobile saying to delete which I did and I'm with Orange. My phone/sim seems to be okay.0

I've just come back to carry on posting the story.....
I contacted 3 to complain and they have arranged for the phone to be repaired. It is still under warranty I think by just 1 day!
I should get it back tomorrow so I'll see what happens.
As it happens I have had repeated problems with the other C975 I used regularly. 3 have arranged for this to be swapped for another handset. apparently they do this when the phone goes back for a 3rd time. They must have had one hell of a lot of C975s back!
