No Orange Service
Hello people
Just wondered if it was only me or if others have had the same problem?
I have had no orange service since about 4pm this afternoon and it came back on at about half nine.
Can I claim for lost airtime? and whats the likely cause of this?
Thanks
Matt

Probably worth a call to CS in a polite then firm manner - they may give you a token guesture. Don't hold your breath though!Certain OTT members have caused me to add this disclaimer: all advice given is free of charge & as such should be taken to be IIRC (as I don't spend hours researching all answers  )!0

You may find that this was a problem due to your local mast. I was with Orange briefly last year and the mast went down for 2 weeks. Orange didn't know about it. I was the person who told them, so much for their technical support! This was confirmed when I drove some 3 miles to the nearest town and I could get perfect 2 way reception without any issues.
The problem in this case resulted in my being able to call people and I could hear them but they could not hear me.
I did argue with their Chief Executive's Office concerning this issue. I received a proportionate figure for the loss of use of the phone/network bor both contracts.
They offered to terminate the contracts after 6 weeks with no penalty provided I returned the phones. I took them up on this.
