Moving from dial up

Yes,don't laugh, but my parents are still on NTL dial up,and I have now persuaded them to get broadband. They've decided on Pipex start at £14.99pm,with 500 free phone minutes,as this will meet their needs.
Now,as it's such a long time since I did it,what's the process for moving from a dial up ISP,to one of the broadband variety? I take it there's no mac code involved?
If as what I suspect is correct,I'm going to their house tomorrow, and will set the ball rolling.

Apply to the Broadband ISP (Pipex) who will take all the details and give you a connection date for the Broadband. Sit back and wait for the modem and filters to arrive and install them on the due date. The modem will show if the connection has been made. In the meantime keep using the dial-up connection.
Or something like that!:beer:0 -
I've just gone onto Pipex and it's been no trouble whatsoever. Very fast too.0

Sorted their broadband account out today, and they've chosen the Pipex middle package for £17.99 a month, plus the £4.99 a month for the talk 3000 plan.3000 minutes a month anytime on the phone.
They should hear soon when the activation should take place, and then it's bye bye NTL dial up.That's my mutt in the picture above.0
