Anyone used Frog Games for games?

I am wanting to get Wii Sports resort for my kids for xmas and have found it on this website http://www.frog-games.co.uk for £27.99 which seems to be a bargain compare to everywhere else.

Has anyone used this website before? I'm a bit wary of purchasing from a website I've never heard of!

I ordered Fifa 10 from here on 22/10/2009.
I never got a registration confirmation email, I never got an order confirmation email.
It says "despatched 23/10/2009". But you try to contact them, you only get an email address and some apologetic message about delays with postal strikes, etc, etc. But I haven't seen one good thing about this site on the internet. So many sites & forums are saying it's a fake website.
I paid through Paypal and have just filed a dispute with them.
I know it's only been 1 week but I am 99% convinced it's a scam website.

I would definately avoid at all costs and wish i'd done my googling prior to ordering with them.
However, in the off chance that the game does actually turn up, I will post back on this thread and let you know.

Well, after my dispute with Paypal this morning I have been given a refund in full, so i'm relieved about that.

I placed an order on this website on the 24th October. Nothing arrived. The website link doesnt exist anymore and i emailed them and now the email address doesnt exist either.

Do not touch this with a barge pole! PAYPAL to the rescue !!!

Same happened to me.
I'm glad for the peole who got refunds but I didn't and the whole site has disappeared..don't hold out much hope with paypal!
A lesson learned! no phone number/address...must be dodgy!

same thing happened to me I placed 2 orders just under £70s worth (after being directed from ebay as they were 1 of their sponsored links), read all about them on the internet so opened a dispute with paypal, I then escalated this 2 days afterwards at earliest opportunity , now have been told by paypal that they will give frog games 10 days to respond.I rang up paypal to tell them that this was a fraudulent site which has since disappeared and wether i still had to wait 10 days before they investigated and they said yes , because i might still get the goods ordered.i told them taht was highly unlikely and couldn't they see by the maount of cases brought against frog games that 10 days just gives the web site owner an opportunity to disappear and they didn't seem to care stating rules are rules etc.unfortunately because the money I used in paypal was money I had recd and I didnt fund the transactions with a credit card it looks likely that unless frog games have the money in their paypal account I have lost my money when the 10 days is up.How paypal can set up these accounts without any checks and how Ebay can advertsie the website on their site without anychecks is just plain unbelievable.But at least paypal are happy as they have taken a lot of money in charges for this account .i am very unhappy with paypal and have sent them a letter stating taht unless i get a refund within 24 hours i will be bombarding various media and BBcs watchdog about their unhelpfulness in thsi situation.also interesting is taht some compalints about thsi website happened a full 2 weeks before I ordered and paypal were still taking money for them

paypal have closed both of my cases today with the message
'After careful consideration, we're unable to decide this claim in your favour at this time.'
thanks a lot for their help , so i have lost next to £65 and paypal just laugh at me and say that's life.
what i find really upsetting that in all this you know taht paypal would still have got their commission on the payment and have kept that and do not even refund me that,WHICH BEGS THE QUESTION HOW MUCH DO THEY MAKE ON FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY - THERE IS NO COMEBACK AND I AM VERY SAD.
I HAVE REPORTED THSI TO BBC WATCHDOG AND AM QUITE HAPPY TO GO ON THE PROGRAM IF NEED BE.WHAT UPSETS ME MORE IS I WAS IN CENTRAL LONDON YESTERDAY AND THERE WERE SCORES OF ADVERTS FOR PAYPAL SAYING HOW GREAT IT WAS TO USE ON OVER 3000 SITES AND HOW SAFE IT WAS.THIS IS CLEARLY NOT THE CASE AND WHEN FRAUD OCCURS YOU MAY AS WELL JUST BURN YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY THAN EXPECT ANY HELP FROM PAYPAL.

Ive claimed through Paypal, but as there is no money in the account I wont get any back.

In my mind, this is Fraud, and Paypal have assisted. Especially as there were complaints on file long before I put my claim in - a search on Google shows loads of people who have claaimed, surely Paypal should have put a hold on any payments sent to this account in the meantime?

I "only" lost £30, but thats not the issue. When I first came across this site, I thought it looked a little good to be true. I figured, as I was paying with Paypal they would protect me.

Paypal protection isnt worth a *!$! .

I was scammed by Frog Games and lost £30, with the same experience as everyone else: Paypal are just as much scammers themselves. So, I've now been extra careful and checked out every game site I plan to buy from. Suddenly, when looking for games, GECKOGAME.CO.UK has appeared, I've never seen it before, it's 'authentic site' logo is just a gif image and it has no details where you can get in contact with them, just a phone number that is clearly not real: UK phone numbers have 11 numbers not 12 numbers and there is no area code that even resembles theirs. The Gecko Game site also looks like a template job, like Frog Games did. The only difference is they are using Amazon. So everyone beware!

I was also Scammed by FROG GAMES! Had the same Experience with Pay pal not refunding my money i have reported Pay Pal to BBC Watchdog today and will also be calling Pay Pal and telling them what i have done! Please Contact Watchdog took me few mins to fill form out ..There no better than FROG GAMES!
