All I can say is if the weatherman keeps saying its a sunny day but its raining outside the window, you eventually have to start questioning either your own sanity, or the weather report.

Rightmove still reporting some satisfying monthly drops in the areas I am monitoring.

    Satisfying I tell you!

And I'm not going to bail out due to weight of numbers- oh no - all of you being wrong together are just as wrong as one of you being wrong on your own.

Wrong you are, wrong you have been, and wrong so you shall be proved!

    Eat my Martin! :money:
  • These price rises have been so consistent even I'm getting bored with it.

The argument has been decisively won by the bulls.

    The crash is over.

Time to find something ese to argue about.;)

Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

    Rubbish.

    I'm still here.

Crash no.1 may be over but I expect a new crash to start in 2010. Seems like it may be starting from nearly the same place as the first one but I believe it will happen.

The problem is Rightmove is meaningless.
One can't moan about people putting up property at "silly prices" and then rub ones hands in glee as asking prices drop.
    Asking prices mean very little.

    i quite agree.

i can see 2010/2011 being tough.

i can't see as many months falls as last year but can see them dropping, i'm not seeing it go below the Feb 2009 low though, but only because of the last few months rises.

My guess is it will just about reach that level again but it will creep there and as inflation will rise slowly it will of course not be quite such a low in reality but I expect to see it tested in nominal terms.

Yes quite a few people.... mortgages didn't stop altogether you know.

But if you mean did I, then no, I'm neither buying nor selling for the forseeable future..... 9 years at least I'd guess.

If you mean did anyone on this forum.... I haven't a clue.

    Not much help eh? :D
