But you just know, somewhere, there's a village missing it's idiot.
Well, it's certainly not anywhere near Aberdeen, so we narrowed it down a bit.0 -

As they only exist in your head why don't you pretend that you have four and they are up 20%?0 -
Only 2 - but I'd imagine they will be up at least 20% within a year of purchase !!0

But the mortgage lender says the recent run of strong price rises could be coming to an end as increasing numbers of people put their home up for sale.
There are also signs the rate at which potential new buyers are registering with estate agents is beginning to slow as property prices rise.Howard Archer, chief UK and European economist at IHS Global Insight, says: "Despite the further significant rise in house prices, we remain highly doubtful that the house price rally seen since early 2009 can be sustained for much longer.
"Consequently, while house prices may well rise further in the near term from their early 2009 lows, we suspect they will be prone to significant relapses further out.
"Indeed, we believe house prices will be at least 5% lower at the end of 2010 compared to now, and would not be surprised if the slippage is greater still."

No, we need houses that are unaffordable. Then we can celebrate! Just think how rich we will be!0 -
With Mewbie, it's different. He's having a go in general at other users of this site for using it in the way it was set up to be used, he called people tw@ s just for refuting Carol's assertions yesterday. And then he complains at the lack of rational debate.
A wise woman once PMed me that mewbie's mood swings in relation to the direction of house prices. When they fall, he is all geniality, humour and fun, when they rise, he is all spite, vitriol and despondency.
I almost hope for a housing crash because the opposite will see mewbie sectioned to a mental institute.

houses may be expensive but they are definitely affordable. if they were not affordable so many people wouldn't have bought in the last few years and are buying now.
not everyone will be able to afford to buy property - to them it will always be unaffordable.0
