Hi all
Carphone Warehouse received new stock of Nokia 7600's yesterday and allocated the stock overnight. This meant that if you go here now http://www.carphonewarehouse.com/commerce/servlet/gben-specialoffers-Details?itemID=MAIN.UK.INTERNET.SPECIAL.OFFERS.JAN053NOK7600H3 and add one to your basket you can get
  • a new Nokia 7600
  • 500 minutes a month to any network
  • 100 texts a month.

It will only cost you £2.99 per month for 12 months.
Don't forget when ordering it that you can trade in your old phone for £20.

Please don't be greedy (you know who you are). If you can't resist, why not make a donation to the disaster fund here https://www.donate.bt.com/bt_form_dec.htm

  • This is by redemption though you get charged full price and then have to send in your 6th and 12th bills to get your money back. Not so good for those of us who are naff at filing things away. :-/

I'm on the 3 network also and it's great. Fantastic reception everywhere I've been (London/Surrey/Middlesex). currently in Canary Wharf getting full '3' reception where i once had no reception on o2 PAYG
Forgot to mention I am on the 3 network already and have to say it is quite crap. Very poor reception etc.

Well, 3 is ok for where I am staying. Itis a matter of luck as they are still instaling the 3g network sub station. On most major city, that should be ok.

If you can't get it in carphone warehouse, try the e2save. They might be charging more, but there is get around way to get it for cheaper. Well, under their price match guarantee, they will offer the same price to you. Meaning signup with them, then quote them the carphonewarehouse promotion, and they will charge you the same. (So long as there's a similar promotion within 7 days of your purchase). I know cause I did that.

But then how can it be cheaper? Well, people get £30 for every referral phone purchase. And on the referral site, there's lot of people will to pay back some of those money back to you if you use their referral link when you purchase the phone through their referral link. Well, I am one of them.

Since I earn £30 for each referral applicant who successfully purchases a contract mobile phone using my referral link. How about I return £25 of it back to you once I am credited the £30. I will only keep the £5 for all the hassle.  (Sorry I can't post the referral link here as it will be against the rule of this forum, but you can find the detail here, http://forum.moneysavingexpert.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=Referrers;action=display;num=1104938325;start=0#0 )

    Since £2.99 x 12 - £25 = £10.88 which is £0.91 per month.

You get a free phone, 500 min cross network and 100 free text per month for just £0.91 a month. This is the best deal so far.

ah, indeed. Ive also had problems with other companies offering similar deals in the past. I think i`ll stick to my 12.50 a month contract with o2.
  • This deal is available with £15 cashback on contract phones from CPW via linemypocket. Bringin the total cost down to £1.74 per month. Details here:

I took up this offer several weeks ago now and have been very impressed. I've only been around London but reception seems great. Plus once you get over the odd shape of the phone it's actually superb for the price - camera, mp3 player, videos, internet all work wonderfully.
