02 Contract - iPhone.

Hi,

Just a general query really, I was wondering who here had an iphone and also how much your contract is each month and how much your bill actually comes to!

I have the £45 a month contract however ALWAYS go over! me and OH seem to be the only people with iphones who do this and I cannot understand why.

I have signed up to my o2 to keep track of texts and minutes but whenever i try to log in it says error.

OH has tried contacting o2 on 2 occassions just on advice on how to keep the bill to a minimum or if we could have a bolt on or maybe the phone just stops us from texting once we reach our limit etc but they haven't replied

Someone mentioned there is an App for the Iphone which tells you your remaining mins/texts, have you had a look for that?

I never ever go over my limits.

I am aware that the 02 app often doesn't work by all accounts but you can text a number at any time for free and they will tell you how many minutes and texts you have used and have left. I think it's 21202

Hi again just wanted to say thanks for the advice and let you know the text thing worked, it text back how many mins and texts I have left and also what my additional bill is, which is currently £0 so now i know how to check it can hopefully keep it at £45!

Also messaged my OH on facebook (as its free) to let him know about it too.

The app never works for me either! I'm on the £35 a month tariff and I never go over:j

Hiya, just wanted to bump this thread and also say thanks for the advice regarding the 21202, myself and OH used this last month and got our bill today which was £87 for both phones, which is obviously is a massive difference to the bills we had got previously! so thank you xxx

Have you considered increasing your tariff, if you are going over your limit an extra £5/10 a month on the contract could save you a fortune in charges.
