Some useful info so far. Thanks everyone.
Any suggestions where I might get the Neff hood for less than £392?
Thanks, msv0 -

£50 saving would be great.
My appliances are all Bosch, but I'm not really bothered about matching brands, plus I didn't particularly like the Bosch hoods.
Thanks CK. msv

Tah dah!!!!
I just spent 20 mins typing an answer was just about to post and my flammin' computer reboot itself, bloody windows auto updates grrrrr....
Anyhoo...thanks to CK for telling you all about Elica, I would recommend them over ANY other supplier - better extraction rates, more energy efficient, look and feel better than all the others etc etc...
As to comparing Wickes take away with the to order kitchens, here's how I look at it:
I would compare the take away range with B&Q and Ikea, they are average units, at a good price, but don't expect any bells or whistles (15mm white carcase, limited styles, limited unit choice and not many decorative units) although they do now have adjustable feet, soft close doors and drawers (on most ranges) and have a 65mm service gap
The to order range basically bridges the gap between the rest of the "sheds" and the mid range independent market, it is a good quality product (18mm off white (RAL9001) carcase, Blum internals, now do a 450mm fascia that was missing for SO long, a good choice of styles and finishes) The only thing that lets it down is the fact they are flat packed.
The take away range has come on leaps and bounds over the last couple of years, but is still a way behind the to order range, but if you are a tight budget, they have their place. I've personally fitted (yup, I know what a screwdriver is) three take away kitchens, and my OH's mum has one, but if you can afford that little bit more, you will get a better finish, more choice and a more "finished article" with the to order range...
Hope that helps??If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

Looks like they have upgraded the Wickes pickup range then. Mine is 2 years old def was not "done" and it did not have all those special cupboards for fridges, and ovens then either. May well be worth another look when it needs replacing then.
B&Q trade in local B&Q are on show in the building section (plasterboard etc.) well away from the public looking at kitchens!
I agree the range of wickes is limited, but I fitted a few over the years, and they all had feet, and lasted well. Just looked at your photos, isn that the wickes Daytona, maple shaker style. I fitted one at my MIL about 8 years ago, it had feet then, maybe they went for a few years.
I will have to go and look at the B & Q trade range, I have a trade account with them, but only have ever seen the IT, and the Cooke and Lewis, both in flat packs. Didn't ever see a third range anywhere and we have all three types of store round here, which B & Q is it?0 -
