    Press "MENU" on remote
Scroll right to the audio settings.
Set the volume you require when the tv turns on
    Scroll to Bottom highlite "Store"
press the OK button on the remote.

Thank you. This is correct and does work. For anyone reading this who thinks I must be stupid for not being able to work this out I want to point out that when I went to the audio settings the volume was already displayed at the volume I wanted (not the volume the TV was coming on at). I did not realise that that setting was not already stored. If you have this TV you will see what I mean.

Also, if you're thinking of buying this TV my opinion has changed having owed it for over 6 months now. It developed a fault and been in for repair. That didn't fix the problem so it was replaced. Not confident replacement will last as I know two other people with the same TV and both have also gone wrong, wish I spent a bit more and got an LG.

I got this TV and now its giving em problems.

Turned tv+sky on this morning, Standby lights came on. an hour later while in kitchen I heard my TV turn on. I went in and it was flicking through all sorts of settings. Remote wouldnt turn it off so did it at the power. Turned back on and now the Standby light is flashing Red & Green and I cant get the TV to turn on : - (

Cant find anything in the Manual about it

Bought this TV a year ago and not had any problems whatsoever with it.
