At last Tesco are becoming a major player in the mobile phone and internet league. With a lite user tariff at 8p per minute for calls and 4p texts plus a £2 per week data browsing pass add on. This compares well with all the payg and even contract tariffs. Check it out.

Disregard my previous recommendation. I loaded £10 of credit onto my phone and paid £2 for the weeks unlimited data browsing pass which starts on Mondays. By Thursday I had a text to say I had used 90% of the fair usage which turns out to be only 50 MB. I was then more restrained in my usage but on Saturday, the 6th day I couldn't get onto the web. I found that all the £10 of credit had been used up, presumably the 50 MB of fair usage and then being charged £4 per MB !
I hadn't even gone to You Tube or i player, if I had I would likely to have used £10 in a day.
I'll never use Tesco again.
Virgin web is only 30p per day for 25 MB of fair usage (equal to £2.10 for 175 MB per week) .
3 is free for 200 MB per 3 months,if you top up with £5.
