    Thanks for the reply's

They may well be worn far from the mouth but smoke does not understand the difference in a confined environment such as a home

This is obviously a very heavy smoker they smell like ashtrays
They are not washable I have spoken to two MBT stockists today
I am torn as to what to do
    I don't have a tumble dryer sadly
The buyer is ignoring me obviously does not care
I will buy some tumble dryer sheets tomorrow stuff them and leave them in the garage another few days thanks for the tip

I am very tempted to leave a negative, to recieve an item that smells that bad to me is disgusting ,some will say I should of asked I agree it's 50/50 he should have stated it also, but this is not me being picky they reek !

However I am going to open a claim with Paypal and see what happens
I think it should be a compulsory drop down box on listings for item is from smoking household, household with pets

    Rant over :rotfl:
"Very funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes."

All truth goes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Then, it is violently opposed. Finally, it is accepted as self-evident.
  • Unfortunatelty some smokers do not realise that they, their homes, and everything in it smells of cigarette smoke.

Unless it states from a smoke free home then assume they smoke!

    Are they new?

If so, new trainers don't come smelling of smoke - ergo SNAD. If they're not new -seriously £60?!
  • Yes £60 nearly new I have to say the condition is excellent
They are specialist footwear recommended for post back surgery posture by my GP

Yes your right sadly smokers have no idea how bad they smell
My friend has a fag pops a mint in her mouth then squirts body spray at herself
This masks nothing she still stinks of fags and I have asked her she honestly can't smell it

I've known smokers smell other smokers and say 'I don't smell like that do I?
