From what you've said, you've not actually made the complaint to anyone within National Express - just left messages for someone to get in touch with you.
I think a complaint is better made by writing a letter.0 -
What are you complaining about?0

Yeah you need to layout what your issue is.
I know my company's customer service dept will not respond to unsolicited numbers or emails0 -

I'm complaining about a coach i took from London to Leeds a few months ago, the smell was unbearable coming from the toilet as if something died in there, anyone who went to use the toilet swiftly turned around and walked back out so bad was the smell, the driver sprayed some air freshner but i said to him he would need something a lot stronger than that to get rid of that small, it was that bad that even with the door closed it was wafting throughout the coach and i had to literally cover my nose for the duration of the 4 1/2 hour journey, the driver said it was nothing to do with him and for me to contact them direct which i did and explained my story and asked for somone to call me back about this (as in a manager) but no one has so i want to take this further no one should have to put up with something like this when your paying for a service, when i eventually got off the coach i was physically sick from the smell, i suspect a dead carcass was in that toilet!!!0 -
OK, in your opinion, have you actually made an official complaint to National Express?
What do you expect this person whom you want to ring you back to do?
Why are you insisting on doing this verbally?
Why not sit down and write a letter to them explaining what happened.
And, if I were you, I'd not bother including phrases like this:i suspect a dead carcass was in that toilet!!!0 -

in the letter.
And why shouldn't i say about the dead carcass thing, you weren't on the fcuking coach so you don't know what it was like,it was absolutely revolting the worst smell ive ever encountered in my life.0 -
There is no need for language and no room for it on this forum.
No one with that attitude is going to get any further help on here.
(and you cant spell very well either):rotfl:
Now, please just take the advice above and jog on.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
,you weren't on the fcuking coach so you don't know what it was like.
If you put that in the complaint, that might explain thingsSquirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
Now 20% cooler0 -
On their website there is a feedback box so i said my piece in that and specifically asked for someone to contact me about this but no one has, i then phoned 3 times and sent a text to no avail.
And why shouldn't i say about the dead carcass thing, you weren't on the fcuking coach so you don't know what it was like,it was absolutely revolting the worst smell ive ever encountered in my life.
I was beginning to sympathise until I read this message. You sound pathetic. If you have shown the same level of comprehension towards National Express as you have demonstrated on here, then they are totally right to ignore you. I would.
And how the heck can you text a complaint? Can you write? If so, why not sit down and write a letter like those folk used to do in the good old days.0 -

The reason I advised you not to include the comment about a dead carcass is that complaints - if you are to get any response at all - need to be brief, to-the-point and unemotional.
To rant about 'dead carcasses' just makes you look silly.
With an attitude like yours, any complaint letter that you send to National Express will be passed around the office, ridiculed and filed in the WPB.
You are a rude, ungrateful, abusive person and as McNeff and Tozer say, you don't deserve any further help.0
