I feel I have to come to defence of Thompsons Partnership in Plymouth.

I used them in a couple of months ago when I sold my old house and bought my new one. I found them to be very efficient- dealing with paperwork the day it was received and keeping in touch by telephone to let me know what was going on.

They were also very good value for money. I would (and have) highly recommend them.

Just spotted your location, I know a good firm in Bedford Place, Southampton.

    Chartahouse Conveyancing

Ask for Simon Hawkins (Son of the Owner) ans tell him I said to call him. He will give you a good deal.

    Hope this helps

That one sounds like a good lead for you MFG.

I just wanted to say how sorry I am about your house. Been there myself, it's gutting when you've made so many plans and had all these ideas of how the future was going to be there.

Keep the faith that everything happens for a reason and you'll find something even better now.

Thx Andrew Smith and thanks to you too Dee... I wasnt too upset by it: right aftet the news broke out, i started singing "always look on the bright side of life".

There is no need to get upset about it: it is only bricks and mortars, and yes we did make plans for this one but it does not mean that we cant apply those plans to the next one!

    No worries,

Simon is a good guy, I've known him a while. If he know's that he was recommended to you by me, he will look after you, but as with all conveyancers it doesn't hurt to give then a gentle nudge every now and then.

Having said that, he is the best one I have come across in my dealings with mortgages and solicitors.

Don't forget to ask him for his 'best' price ;)

I hope all goes well for you, I'm sure it will and I really admire your positive attitude.

    Andy
