laterooms have hotels on fri and sun between 50 -60 pounds but they are full on sat, but there are some on sat in a different hotel at about £70, you could do it like that, you could ask at the 1st hotel have they got somewhere you could leave some of your things as youre coming back the day after, cost you approx 180 for 3 nights, check for the ones where you get your breakfast included

There´s a premier Inn (? - the one with the moon) just off the M55 at Wesham/Kirkham

And there´s Ribby Hall. There´s a caravan park at Moss Side on the way into Lytham but I´ve no idea what it´s called and whether they do short term bookings. Likewise one on the main road from Preston to Blackpool (A583) near Four Lane Ends

Thanks for all the suggestions, Ive tried every site and loads of hotels but nothing doing. Ended up booking Presthaven sands, so no illuminations but at least its a break!!
