Urgent - Blackpool 23rd Oct

Ahhh due to a !!!! up over the Daily Mail holiday offer, my booking for this weekend at Marton Mere in Blackpool has been cancelled. I only found out an hour ago when I rang Haven to ask about paying for the passes. I now need to find a caravan in Blackpool for the 3 nights as my children are really looking forward to going :(

Can anyone help with where I may be able to get accomodation. Not having much luck googling late deals. There is one on Ebay ending soon but a lot of bidders. Any ideas anyone?

Cheers

Are you definitely looking for a caravan or would you stretch to a B&B?

What sort of budget are you looking at?

Upto £200.00. Ive stayed in B and B's before and they havent really suited, we really wanted the flexibility of a caravan but now I am desperate ill consider anything!!

    Southport ;)
£134 for 3 days and the kids get the scooby doo monster party entertainment too.

We were there last week for the Scottish Half term, 5 star luxury it ain't, definitely billy basic, but the kids had one heck of a good time. (and much cheaper on site than Haven, lot more inclusives.)

im a local so don't know what they are like but you could try:
newtonhall.net, close to the park and zoo and 5 mins by car to the centre. recently rebuilt the entertainment hall a couple of years ago.
windyharbour.net, bit further out but good location for motorway, fleetwood. about 15 mins to blackpool.

The britannia hotels are still sending me daily special offer emails for blackpool. But I know that prices tend to increase rapidly when you say "family room".

Southport "should" be closed down lol!!! We are only 15 mins from southport so know the Pontins well. Kids would probably enjoy it and if nothing else comes up southport it may be!!
