Hi, I was just wondering if anyone could advice me to the costs of running a single storage heater vs 1 halogen heater (quite cheap to buy around £12).
I'm not sure if the storage heater I have is an Eco7 or not and tbh I don't know the difference.
I'm just wondering about price per day of the storage heater and price per hour of the halogen heater.
Thanks in advance.

A 2KW storage heater on economy 7 tariff for 7 hours would work out about the same as a halogen heater on all 3 lamps (1.2KW) for approx 12 hours daytime rate0

Thanks for the reply Swipe. Do you have any idea roughly what either would cost per day for those times you stated. I am using a prepay meter with a key.
Thanks again.0 -
I'm not sure how much pence per KWH you pay on a prepay meter but assuming it's around 15p/kwh you are looking at around £2 per day.0
