Towel Cakes

loving the whole cake thing, made two towel ones last niight one 3/4 tier and one 2/3 tier. , both looking quite good, and then made two nappy ones(a 3 tier and 1 tier)
need to get my camera and take some pics

going to have to redo one of them and stick a bottle of champers in it as its for a wedding gift and the other one is just done should something pop up like housewarming, birthday, wedding or something lol

its great fun and soooooo personal

hi all
well ive had another order for 2 towel cakes today for the same lady who had a nappy cake from me,she wants one in plum and one in teal colours (towels) which argos do and she also wants the miniatures with them like what i did on my others

Hiya i have an order for 20 -30 towel cakes in black and yellow theme black towels with yellow ribbon
not sure on rest of details yet as just got email asking if i can do them, same person i done the 10 cream ones for last month they loved them an want more whooo
im made up but gonna be busy few months ahead want them for end sept/beg oct

its a bit scary if honest lol have to start looking for towels in black ect then get pricing all together but if under £30 a pack he wants 30 of them , for a night club to give as staff pressies for xmas

ooh yes you will need extra money for there as you'll just spend,spend.
i get the towel bales from argos, at the mo there buy 1 get 1 half price

well i am going to start buying in more towels going to do some up for elderly relatives as xmas gifts, put some xmas ribbons round them and maybe put some jams and stuff in make it look nice

Well done that's fabulous! Make sure you put a card or flyer in every cake you make, so the person who recieves the towel cake knows who made it. Just incase they want one for someone else!

Got my towel bales through today and they look pretty good (for £7!!)
I got them in chilli pepper, which is red (Christmassy!) I'm thinking of putting a bottle of wine, maybe mulled, in the middle and a couple of those puff things that you use in the shower and holly to decorate and wrap in cellophane.
Does that sound okay or do you ususally put other exciting things inside?
