These are gorgeous, love the colours too! Is there anything "inside" these ones?

Have you used the towels your OH bought you yet?

    Thanks!
The wedding towel cakes have a 6pc towel bale and a bottle of bubbly inside only Cava though as the customers only wanted to spend £30! So with the personalised ribbon too costs all add up. The blue and white one I did before is for my cousins wedding next weekend so that has a bottle of Moet in!

Think it was craftygrannys hubby that bought the towels mine would never think of anything like that

Ooh sorry, my memory is rubbish! lol

You've hid the bottle really well, did you start by rolling the bottle in the bottom towel first then?

I have two big ones to make for Christmas pressies, both orders, so thought I'd use a bottle of bubbly in my ones too.

  • Thanks so much Sally and Crafty Granny. Yes Sally I start with rolling a bath towel around the bottle and go from there ;)
Craftygranny you'd be surprised how quickly I can make them - the red one was the last one I made and I had made and wrapped it in under half an hour :D

  • Brilliant all of them but the red is stunning.

I have been asked to make a pamper cake for a 90 odd year old lady who lives in a nursing home . Her daughter said she can't use bubble bath or shower gels but moisturising lotions are fine and some chocs but anyone got any ideas of anything else i can include . The lady is paralysed too. Not much to go on but all i have, any ideas would be most welcome .

  • Hmmm tricky one as she can't use any bath toiletries and is paralysed!!! Given her age too it will be tricky to buy the right products! I certainly don't envy you trying to get the items for the cake! Sorry not really helping am I - lol :D
Bit of a cliche but what about hankies? Soft chocolates? EDT cheap set?
Will have a think and if I am inspired will get back to you ;)
