Sat Navs in Asda

Hope your all checking how recent the maps are on these cheepies, as its a bit like buying a road atlas--would you pay say the full price for a 2008 road atlas?, but you would for a new 2010 book? remember map updates are not free!
Ah, but they don't change most roads every year & the state the economy is in at the minute they'll be even fewer new housing estates & road changes made. I think a year old map will still find it's way down the M1..........
What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about !!!0 -
Even most of the absolute latest sat nav maps don't have changes to road that have been in place over a year. For example there's a road not far from me that became one way about a year ago, but sat nav with maps updated after still try send you the wrong way down it.Ah, but they don't change most roads every year & the state the economy is in at the minute they'll be even fewer new housing estates & road changes made. As always a sat nav needs to be combined with looking at the road signs and a bit of road sense
