Nah that's usually the Ebay re-sellers after a quick buck. They see ££££ in their eyes realising how much they can sell them on for and buy up every last one. As the purpose is merely to sell on for profit the number they buy is no longer a constant and not restricted. 2 isn't a particularly excessive number to buy IMO :) Surely being able to buy things as staff is just one of the privileges of working for them

I bought the 4228 last Thursday from Asda Hounslow. The box was hidden at the back of the cabinet behind some other Sat Navs- I'm pretty sure there was at least one other Myguide (green and white box) still hidden there too at the time.

It's quite a sleek-looking unit- my only gripe is that there's nowhere to store the stylus.

MASSIVE thanks to anewman :T for the posts and uploads- up until now, I'd found all other instructions utterly confusing and unreliable...
  • Hi I have just (5.11.09 at 8:40) brought a Binatone x350 Sat nav from Asda in Bloxwich for £20. You have to go to the Games /CD /DVD section where they have one behind the counter on display. There is no SEL out for them. I could see into the store room and there were some left. Hope this is of use to someone.

I would hardly call 2 excessive, NO im not an ebay seller, i bought one then my mum decided she wanted one also, thats hardly unreasonable....this seems to be sour grapes on your behalf! Maybe you never got hold of one???? because of my inexcessive buying!!!:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

I got the last myguide in Cardiff for £20 ideal xmas present! Gave it a whirl and its not bad. Takes a while to find addresses etc but its pretty good for the money.

Wasnt on the shelf but behind the counter, guy was amazed when it came up as £20! They didnt have any of the Binatone ones though. The guy told me Asda are selling off their sat nav's as they wont be selling them anymore in the future.... worth keeping an eye on me thinks!
