The MG4228 scans at £30. Got one today, was priced at £50 but went through on till at £30 (guy was about to key in £50 but left it at £30). I already had the 3.5" version but wanted something with a slightly bigger screen :)

There's one or two left at Crown Point Retail Park (Leeds) Unless the staff have nabbed them as he seemed surprised at the price).
  • Hubby just back from Asda in Crown Point, Leeds and bought the MG4228WE for £30 (thinks it might have been the last one of this model). He did take back a Binatone x350 there at the same time too - I'd bought it earlier in the week at Asda, Killingbeck Leeds but he wanted one with a bigger screen. This one might still be available there?

They did have accessory packs for £10 ( not reduced). We've never had a sat nav. Would it be worthwhile buying one?
Life's too short for wasting on ifs and might have beens...........

I've just been to the one in Slough. The guy behind the counter said that they had no satnavs at all and they were waiting for new models.

Lancaster has no satnavs at all or even a section where they should be. Bet they'll be getting new stock for selling for Christmas.....still say you can't beat TOMTOM but you do pay more for it.
  • thats cause i got last 2 from lancaster store

No you didn't, I did, and I spent all the savings I made on the Sat Nav on the fuel I used driving from Doncaster to Lancaster and back, once I've sold the extra one on eBay minus ebay and Paypal fees I'll have enough extra left over to pay for that Cup of tea at Little Chef on the A1 on the way back 'ome like :rotfl:

You could always try here for a refurb tomtom instead http://www.totalpda.co.uk/refurbished-tomtom?osCsid=835a4be595e9bc7f8c41b1fa3e67100a
