Is there a way to 'upgrade' to an iphone 3gs before your upgrade date?

Someone said you can do it through the insurance but I have no idea how

You can upgrade up to 3 months early, but you won't get as good an offer as if you were out of your minimum term.
I don't how you could do it on the insurance, even if you said you'd lost your phone or had it stolen they replace like for like.

Yeah, it's called fraud. Basically "pretending" the phone is broken or physically breaking the phone to take advantage of a low excess.

Pretty much illegal, so like the rest of us, you'll have to wait

O2 will allow you to pay off your remaining line rental, they will take into account your average spend to see if you can have a discount. Upgrades through o2 is 30 days early, not 3 months as said above, you have to be a gold customer to upgrade 3 months early.

Also as said the insurance thing is fraud.

Thanks everyone for the replies....I called them today to query when im due my upgrade and ive not that long to wait anyhow
