They don't need to contact you but can do.muffinhead wrote:How do I get a visa card then? LOL
If you can deal with not having a card for a few days, phone them up and say you have lost your card and they will deactivate the Solo and send you a Visa one in the post.
If you can wait, just wait until your Solo card expires.0 -
Thanks i'll ring them and say ive lost it0

Are Solo cards being discontinued then? My 17yr old son was told he couldn't have Maestro until he was 18."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0

Hm. Would he really have to lie to the bank by saying he'd lost his Solo?
I'd be happy for him to keep it but there are plenty of online places that don't take it and I have to use my card and he pays me back, so from a selfish POV it would suit me to keep him on Solo, but a VISA debit would be better for him. Tell him to shop at better places
Amazon, Play etc. all fine for me. Mainly US sites he would have problems with.
And it technically is lying yes but its not doing any harm.0 -
He knows everything, he's 17!
A couple of the places he buys his concert tickets from don't like Solo.
I might ask him when his Solo expires, it might be fairly soon and festival season is a way away yet."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0
