Is frozen yoghurt that you buy just yoghurt thats frozen ?
I just had a great little dessert that I bought ages ago - some porridge oats then frozen yoghurt then frozen raspberries.
Could I just make it myself and just use yoghurt as the frozen yoghurt bit and sling it in the freezer ?
Thanks!

Hi Jill,
I'm not 100% sure that it's the same thing as I don't buy frozen yoghurt, but you can definitely freeze yoghurt.
There's an older thread that might help you so I'll add your posts to it.

Hi demented,
I don't know about Sainsbury's yoghurts as we don't have a Sainsbury's nearby, but there's an earlier thread that may help so I've added your question to it to keep the replies together.

Thank you Pink-winged.
I will have a look and also may just divide it into smaller portions and freeze.
Can't really lose anything by trying it, as i have wasted so many before.
Thank you once again.20p savers club

Apologisies if this has been asked elsewhere (I have looked), but with 4 packed lunches a day we go through yoghurts quickly. Without me having to try (and fail) does anyone freeze yoghurts????? I would like to 'do' a big shop once a fortnight and want to stock up on frozen veg and tinned fruit to see me through.
I have in the past frozen the childrens petit filous from/frais with little sticks in as lollipops but that meant piercing the lids which wouldn't be practical for a lunch box.0 -
Hi there
I often stick yoghurts in the freezer and have never had any problems.
I have heard that some will seperate a bit, but a quick stir and they are fine again -but it has never happened to mine-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50
