Can an o2 router be used on any other network?

It probably could with a bit of tweaking, but I don't know if O2 would appreciate anyone tampering with their box or software.

Remember that the O2 router remains the property of O2, it's only yours while you subscribe to O2, if you leave they will want it back.

Why would you want to use the O2 router on another isp ?

Most supply a wireless router now anyway.

Apart from that the O2 supplied one is not the best around.

Read the terms & conditions applicable to your particular contract start date as you may get billed £50 if you do not return their router - others have!

I'm still waiting for the return envelop. The only problem I can see for not receiving it is the router was used at a student house. The contact address for the account has always been my home address.
I don't have any problem returning it, just haven't been contacted yet to do so.

I would ring them and explain that you have not received the return envelope to return the router. They state that you must obtain proof of posting when returning the router. The full instructions regarding return are on the reverse of the delivery note sent out originally with the router. The return address is actually a third party A V Distribution OL13 9RW.
